Entertaining with Style

Sip a glass of  champagne and enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres as you learn how easy it is to wow your friends with stylish table settings.  .

Casual meals, and buffet/family dining fit todays busy lifestyle but it is always useful to know the protocols of formal dining and table etiquette when you are hosting, or attending that special dinner or black tie event. An elegant table can "Wow" your friends and set the tone for the meal to follow. There are five main styles of dining but we focus on the US and European styles and how to arrange place settings for multiple course meals. Being confident with your personal place setting helps avoid faux pas such as eating your neighbor's bread or drinking their wine and we have useful tips on handling unusual flatware and eating difficult foods. Learn toasting protocols, how to select wines to compliment your menu and why certain glass shapes are suggested for red, white and sparkling wines. We can even advise on cleaning and storing your flatware, stemware and linens which will help you organize your home.
